Hailing from Scotland the three-piece Universal You released a single recently on Joesoap Records, one that is both well put together and a promising indication of what to expect from the band.
The tense rock track is built around the vocals of Gulzhan Ibraveya, a female front woman who gives confident delivery of the lyrics. Musically things are decent too, it falls somewhere between rock and indie and rattles along nicely courtesy of Paul Finnie who wrote the track and recent recruit Mark Grant.
